Bio

I'm a clinical psychologist with a master’s degree in psychological research, a Certified Sleep Coach, and an accredited EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Therapist. I’ve made it my life’s work to help people sleep better, stress less, and live healthier lives.

Sleep has always fascinated me—it’s the secret ingredient that impacts everything from our physical and mental health to how we show up at work, in relationships, and even how we look. But I get it, sleep hasn’t always been my best friend either. For years, I was burning the candle at both ends—parenting, studying, navigating a demanding career, and let's be honest, always finding more exciting things to do than sleep! But after doing some holistic work, I managed to turn things around. Now, I wake up refreshed every morning, and I’m on a mission to help others do the same.

As an EFT therapist, I work with people struggling with anxiety, stress, chronic pain, and low self-esteem, as well as those aiming to reach new goals, like living a healthier lifestyle or improving their sports performance. EFT, or tapping, has become my go-to daily habit—it’s like brushing my teeth but for my mind! It’s a simple yet powerful technique that helps release emotions and energy, and it’s transformed both my professional practice and my personal life.

Experience

For the past few years, I’ve been working with adults and teenagers facing various sleep difficulties, supporting clients through online sessions. By offering services in both Polish and English, I connect with people from diverse backgrounds, making it convenient for anyone, regardless of location. Drawing on my expertise in clinical psychology, sleep science, and lifestyle coaching, I take a holistic approach to help clients improve their sleep.

My work starts with a thorough assessment to identify the root causes of each client's sleep issues. Whether it's stress, anxiety, lifestyle habits, or diet impacting sleep, I leave no stone unturned. Together, we explore daily routines, nutrition, and underlying psychological factors to name just a few, applying personalized strategies to address each person's unique situation.

Our 4-year-old often ‘woke up’ from sleep at night, terrified and crying. It was impossible to calm him down, he was sleepwalking, screaming and crying, but still as if he was sleeping because there was no contact with him. Thanks to Alicja, I found out that these were night terrors and she advised what we could do to help my son, and the help turned out to be really simple but very effective. At all times throughout our sessions, I felt that Alicja's coaching was personalised and focussed on me and my needs.
