Liz Introno - Experienced Psychotherapist and Somatic Practitioner specialising in mind-body integration, trauma healing, and emotional resilience.
Bio
Liz is a Body Psychotherapist (known in the US as Somatic Psychotherapy) registered with both the UK and European regulatory bodies UKCP and EABP and recognised by AXA health insurance.
Her work is developed on the understanding of the deep link between mind, body and soul, and how emotions are experienced, understood and processed through the different aspects of our being. As we live our experiences through each of these levels they can at times remain unprocessed and impact our ability for independent well-being. At these times talking therapy can be very helpful, other times however, ‘just talking’ doesn’t reach the core of the issue or allow for the depth of the transformation required. This usually happens when we are ‘holding’ at a different level which cannot be reached by words alone. For this reason Liz works on the verbal and non-verbal realms; physical and emotional; conscious and unconscious through embodied movement, mindfulness, creative exploration and guided image work along side more traditional talking therapy.
