Bio

I am a BACP registered counsellor & psychotherapist with professional work experience.

I specialise in children & young people, special educational needs, neurodivergence, social-emotional mental health needs, depression, social anxiety, anger, self-esteem, chronic pain, racism & racial identity and LGBTQIA+ issues.

That said I have experience in helping clients with a range of challenges such as stress, depression, grief, childhood and sexual abuse trauma, sibling sexual abuse, anxiety, social anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, conflict, LGBTQIA+ related issues, learning disabilities/neurodivergent-related issues, anger management, & motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I have experienced and overcome my mental health struggles and have devoted my life ever since to helping others do the same. I have lived experience dealing with many challenges that I support others with. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I am currently working as a specialist mental health mentor for university students who have disabilities, including long-term conditions, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties/ neurodivergence.
