I’m Alison Snee, a fully qualified and insured Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, dedicated to helping people make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives. I hold the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) and the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH), awarded by Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) – one of the UK’s leading hypnotherapy training schools. I'm also a certified NLP Practitioner, trained and awarded by the American Association of NLP, which complements my hypnotherapy work by deepening my understanding of how language, thought, and behaviour interact.
I’m registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH), which means I follow high professional standards and engage in ongoing supervision and CPD. My journey into hypnotherapy was a personal one. I first discovered the power of this approach while navigating my own experiences with anxiety and low mood. I was blown away by how quickly things began to shift when I focused on solutions rather than problems, and how hypnosis gave my mind the rest it needed to rebuild itself. That experience inspired me to train professionally and support others to make similar changes.
Today, I work primarily online with clients across the UK and internationally. I specialise in helping people reduce anxiety and stress, improve sleep, shift unhelpful habits, and build confidence. I also support women experiencing perimenopause and menopause symptoms such as mood swings, poor sleep, overwhelm, and brain fog. My approach is gentle, future-focused, and collaborative. I don’t dwell on what’s wrong – instead, I help my clients understand how their brain works under stress, and how they can harness its natural ability to change, grow, and thrive.

My name is Alison Snee, and I am a professionally trained and accredited Clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Psychotherapist, and NLP Practitioner. With a strong foundation in both traditional and modern therapeutic techniques, I specialise in helping people break through the limitations of anxiety, stress, low mood, and unhelpful thinking patterns. My qualifications include the Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) and the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH), both awarded by Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training – a leading provider of evidence-based hypnotherapy training in the UK. My practice, Bloom Hypnotherapy, was born from a personal journey. Like many of the people I now work with, I’ve experienced first-hand how anxiety and low mood can take hold – and how transformational it is when we learn to work with our brains rather than against them. This lived experience has made me passionate about helping others discover their own inner resources and reclaim a sense of balance, peace, and joy. I approach every client with empathy, respect, and belief in their ability to change.
My Therapeutic Approach
I use a combination of solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), neuroscience education, positive psychology, and clinical hypnosis. This integrated approach enables my clients to not only feel better quickly but to understand why they feel better – empowering them to maintain and build on their progress between sessions and long into the future.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a forward-looking, evidence-based approach that encourages clients to identify their goals and take small, manageable steps toward them. Unlike traditional therapies that focus on the past, I help my clients explore what’s going well, tap into their strengths, and imagine a future where their problems are no longer holding them back.
Hypnosis – a safe, natural, and deeply relaxing state – is used to support this process by allowing the subconscious mind to absorb helpful suggestions, consolidate learning, and process emotional responses in a calm and focused way. It’s particularly effective for sleep issues, anxiety, confidence, phobias, and unhelpful habits.
My sessions are warm, structured, and client-led. I support people to feel heard, to understand how their brain responds to stress, and to move forward with greater ease and confidence. I don’t diagnose, analyse, or dwell on problems – instead, we look at what’s possible and build on what’s already working.

Since launching Bloom Hypnotherapy, I’ve worked almost exclusively online. I use Zoom to deliver confidential, high-quality sessions to clients in the UK and internationally. Online therapy offers a number of benefits – convenience, comfort, flexibility, and access – and studies show it is just as effective as in-person therapy for most issues.
My online practice is fully set up for success. I provide clients with easy instructions for joining sessions, follow-up support via email, and resources including guided audio recordings. I have experience working across time zones and supporting clients from a range of cultural backgrounds.
